Abstract

The rapid advancement of Financial Technology (FinTech) has significantly transformed the investment landscape in India by introducing innovative digital platforms that simplify investment activities and improve access to financial markets. FinTech-based investment platforms utilize technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analytics, blockchain, cloud computing, and mobile applications to provide efficient, transparent, and user-friendly investment solutions. These platforms enable investors to access a wide range of financial products, including stocks, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, bonds, and wealth management services through digital channels. The growing adoption of smartphones, internet connectivity, and digital payment systems has further accelerated the expansion of FinTech investment services across the country. This article examines the evolution of FinTech-based investment platforms in India and explores the key opportunities and challenges associated with their growth. The study highlights opportunities such as enhanced financial inclusion, increased retail investor participation, reduced investment costs, personalized investment solutions, and improved accessibility to financial services. At the same time, it discusses challenges including cybersecurity risks, data privacy concerns, regulatory complexities, digital literacy gaps, and operational risks. The article concludes that while FinTech investment platforms have immense potential to reshape India's investment ecosystem, sustained growth will require strong regulatory support, robust technological infrastructure, enhanced investor protection mechanisms, and continuous efforts to improve financial and digital literacy among investors
